calculator and a pair of protective gloves.
Suggested methods of
application:
Method 1 for ponds with 1000
Litres (225 Gallons) of water
- Half fill a bucket or
watering can from the pond
- Wearing gloves, remove
the tamper evident seal from the pack of DyoFix Black
- Carefully remove the lid
- Pour the contents of the
pack into the bucket or watering can
- Using a stick, stir the
water until the DyoFix Black has dissolved
- If the water feature has
a waterfall, pour the contents at the head, if not, pour
the contents into different parts of the pond to achieve
an even distribution
- Put some clean water
into the bucket or watering can to rinse it out and then
pour it into the pond
Method 2 for
smaller ponds
- Rinse out a 2 litre,
soft drinks bottle, remove the label and leave to dry
- Wearing gloves, remove
the tamper evident seal from the pack of DyoFix
- Carefully remove the lid
- Make a paper funnel and
insert into the neck of the bottle
- Pour the DyoFix Black
into the bottle
- Gently half fill the
bottle with warm water (this helps the DyoFix Black to
dissolve)
- Put the lid onto the
bottle and shake it vigorously
- Pour a little of the
mixture into the pond
- Gently stir the pond
until the DyoFix is evenly distributed
- Repeat steps 9 and 10
until the water looks Black
- Store the unused mixture
in a cool, dark, safe place. It is advisable to write on
the bottle "DyoFix Pond Dye - DO NOT DRINK"
and make sure that it kept out of the reach of young
children
